Meet The Braw

The Braw is a 2021 Rimor Super Brig Suite: a coachbuilt motorhome with a fixed double above the cab and a rear lounge that makes up into a second double. Two couples or a family of four each get a proper bed, and everyone travels in a belted seat.

At 7.3 metres it drives like a big van rather than a bus, and because it's under 3,500kg, a standard UK car licence is all you need.

Common questions

Who can drive The Braw?

Drivers must be aged 30–65 and hold a full driving licence. The Braw is under 3,500kg, so a standard UK car (Category B) licence covers it.

Is insurance included?

Yes. Comprehensive motorhome insurance and 24/7 roadside assistance are included in the hire price. Your personal belongings aren't covered, so we'd recommend your own travel insurance.

How much is the deposit?

A refundable £1,000 security deposit is taken at collection. It's returned within seven working days of the end of your hire, provided the van comes back undamaged, clean inside, with a full tank and two full gas bottles.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes, dogs are welcome subject to approval: £50 per dog, up to two. Tell us the breed(s) when you enquire.

Where do I collect the motorhome?

From Lugton in Ayrshire, between Glasgow and Kilmarnock. Allow about an hour for the handover so we can show you how everything works.

Is there a mileage limit?

1,000 miles a week are included, enough for most NC500 trips from Ayrshire. Extra miles are 32p each.
